Children and money

Dear parents,

As you may know, financial literacy is an important basis for the development and success of our children.

In order to develop the literacy of the population, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan regularly implements different measures for different target groups, including children. Financial literacy helps to lay the foundation for counting, calculating, making choices, being economically efficient, and so on from early ages. In order to make it happen, it is important to involve children in financial decisions.

For this purpose, we have prepared an interesting and practical online course for your children called "Children and Money".

This course is based on the materials of the Financial Literacy Portal of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (bizimpullar.az) and the practical textbook "Children and Money" authored by Evgenia Bliskavka and published by Home Credit Bank of the Russian Federation.

In this course we will talk about the reasons for the creation of money and the national currency of Azerbaijan, how to spend our money efficiently? How to achieve our dreams? How to manage our money? How to protect our money from "threats"? How to increase our money? How to teach money to “run”? How to make money from the money we have? How money protects us? How to take care of our future? How to borrow money? We will find answers to your questions together.

We tried to explain the course in a very comfortable and simple language. We believe that this course will provide a solid foundation for your children to make independent financial decisions in the future.

At the end of each topic, we have prepared interesting questions for children to test their knowledge.

The course is based on the principles of self-education; in other words, your child is independent of the teacher and other course participants. You can join the course anytime, anywhere and take advantage of the resources.

We would like to emphasize that the whole educational process is free.
